About the Lane Family Pet Centre
How we came to be
We’re the longest established veterinary practice in Wigan, and since opening our doors we’ve held one defining principle – that your pets should be cared for to the best of our ability. It’s the least they deserve.
Practice owner Luc Van Dijck has always loved animals, developing a fascination with medical science and zoology from a young age. He aspired to a lifelong career as a veterinarian at the age of 10. In establishing the Luc Van Dijck Veterinary Centre, he set himself the challenge of providing you with the highest level of care – and has consistently surpassed his goals.

But such high-quality can’t be attained alone, which is why Luc is proud of the friendly team of veterinary surgeons, nurses and reception staff he’s assembled at his practice. This is a client oriented practice – and we endeavour to put caring for your pet at the heart of our business. No matter what we’re doing, we take the time to explain it to you in clear and concise terms. And if you’re a regular client, we’ll ensure your furry friend always sees the same vet, so that they’re always at ease in our practice.
